How to connect Kairos to Claude or ChatGPT

Connecting Kairos takes a few minutes and you only do it once. Have your Claude or ChatGPT account and the email you use to sign in to WorkOS at hand.

Step 1: copy the connector address

In WorkOS, go to Settings.
Find the Kairos in Claude or ChatGPT card.
Click the copy button next to the address (something like https://labs.befocusy.com/mcp/your-client).

That address belongs to this WorkOS client (even if you sign in from your own domain, the connector's address always lives on labs.befocusy.com). If your email has an account in more than one WorkOS client, each one has its own address — copy it from EACH client's own Settings.

Step 2: add the connector in your AI

In Claude.ai or Claude Desktop: Settings → Connectors → "Add custom connector".
In ChatGPT: developer mode → Connectors.

Paste the address you copied.

Step 3: sign in to WorkOS

A WorkOS sign-in page opens. It always appears in Spanish.

Type your WorkOS email and click Enviar código (Send code).
You'll receive a code by email (it expires in 10 minutes). Type it and click Verificar (Verify).
If you copied the address from a specific client's Settings, you're taken straight into that client, nothing else to choose. If instead your email has an account in several WorkOS clients and none was preselected, choose one and click Continuar (Continue).

Each connection is tied to a single client — but since each client has its OWN connector address, you can add several connectors (one per client) and keep them all connected at once, even in the same app.

Step 4: authorize access

The Confirmar acceso (Confirm access) screen appears, summarizing what your AI will be able to do: read your records right away and create or modify only if it asks you to confirm. Click Autorizar (Authorize), or Cancelar (Cancel) if you change your mind.

Pointing your AI to a specific email

When you open an email in Inbox, press the copy button (two-sheets icon, next to Delete). It copies a reference like WorkOS email · id: … · «Subject» · from name · date. Paste it into your chat with Claude or ChatGPT and ask for what you need ("summarise this email", "draft a reply"): it will go straight to that email without searching. The ID is not a key: the AI can only read the email if your user has access to it. Avoid pasting the reference in public places, because it contains the subject and sender.

Attachments of your records

If your account has it turned on, your AI can also read the files attached to your notes, documents, projects, tasks, companies, contacts and wiki (PDF, images, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CSV), only in records your user already has access to and never the ones that arrived from an email. The file is transcribed in WorkOS using OpenAI and the resulting text reaches the AI you connected (Claude, ChatGPT…). If you don't want it to see that, ask your account administrator to turn it off or block it in Settings › Kairos › Permissions.

Common problems

The code doesn't arrive. Check your spam folder. If you mistyped the code or it expired, click Pedir un código nuevo (Request a new code). If your email doesn't have an active WorkOS account, you won't receive anything.
"Demasiados intentos" (Too many attempts). Wait a few minutes and start again.
"A connector with this URL already exists." That's a warning from the app itself (Claude/ChatGPT), not from WorkOS: it doesn't allow two connectors with the same address. Check that you're copying the address from the correct client's Settings — each client has its own (Step 1) — and use that one, not one you already added for a different client.
