How to connect your social networks to WorkOS
To publish from WorkOS, you first need to connect your social network accounts. You only do it once, and then Posts and, in Instagram's case, Inbox messaging reuse them.
Where to find it
Go to Settings → Integrations, in the Social networks block. It only appears if your account has publishing to social networks turned on; if you can't see it, ask whoever administers your account.
You'll see one card per network: LinkedIn (the main one), TikTok, Instagram and YouTube (those three are optional). Each person connects their own: connecting or disconnecting your account doesn't affect your teammates' accounts.
How to connect a network
- Click Connect on that network's card.
- A new window from the network opens: sign in and authorize access.
- When you're done, the connection completes on its own. If it doesn't, click Check.
- Once it works, the card shows Connected and the account name ("Connected as…").
If your browser blocks the pop-up window, allow it for WorkOS and click Connect again.
Publishing to your LinkedIn company page
Below the four cards there's an optional block called LinkedIn · company page. To use it, you need LinkedIn connected and you must be an administrator of the page.
- Click Choose company page.
- Select the page from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
If you'd rather publish to your personal profile, pick the option "Publish as personal profile (no page)".
Instagram in Inbox too
If your account has Inbox and you already connected Instagram to publish, its direct messages also arrive in your Inbox. There's no need to connect it again.
Tip: when a connection expires, WorkOS will let you know. See the article "What to do when an account gets disconnected" to learn how to reconnect it.
