How a project's detail page works
Opening a project from the Projects list opens its detail page, with several tabs. Not all of them are always available — it depends on what your account has configured.
General information
From the detail page itself you can edit (some fields only appear if your account has them set up):
- The project's name.
- Status and Type.
- Depends on — the parent project or service, if this project is actually a subproject of another one.
- Date — can be a single date, a range, or left without a date.
- Company — the linked company or client.
- Assignee — the main person in charge.
- Other participants — the rest of the people involved, added and removed as chips.
Tabs
The tabs on the detail page are icons; hover over one to see its name. Content and Task list are always there; the rest only appear if your account has what they need set up.
- Content — a free-form notes space about the project (briefing, context, decisions...).
- Task list, Task kanban, Completed tasks and Calendar — this project's tasks in different views (the same engine as the general Tasks section, just scoped to this project). You can create a new task directly from here, already linked.
- Meetings — the meetings from your Agenda that are linked to this project.
- Received messages and Sent messages — the Inbox messages linked to the project.
- Documents — the documents linked to this project.
- Notes — the linked notes.
- Attachments — files you can upload, rename or remove.
- Subprojects — if this project has "child" projects underneath it.
- Contacts — the linked CRM contacts.
Recording tasks by voice from a project
A project's detail page has a button to record tasks by voice — the Kairos assistant creates them already linked to that project, without you having to assign them by hand afterwards. While they're being processed you'll see a "processing" indicator on the page itself.
A tip
If you're looking for all the tasks of a specific client and can't find the project, try searching by the linked company's name too — the project is often named differently from the client.
