A meeting's detail page: summary and sending by email
Clicking a meeting in the Meetings tab or in the calendar opens its detail page. From there you can read what was discussed, tidy up its details and share the summary.
The meeting's details
At the top you can change:
- Title — it saves by itself when you leave the field or press Enter. The Automatic title (AI) button generates a short one from the meeting's content and applies it directly. It's also in the meetings list.
- Status — a selector that applies instantly.
- Date — changes the day and keeps the time.
- Project or service and Assignee.
Some of these fields only appear if your account has that relation set up.
The tabs
- Summary — the summary with its sections and action items, without the full transcript. If the meeting has no summary, it says so.
- Tasks — the tasks generated from the meeting, with title, assignee and date. It requires the relation with Tasks to be set up.
- Participants — the people taking part, with Add participant. It only appears if your account has it set up.
Sending the summary by email
The Send by email button, in the Summary tab, only appears if your account has both the Agenda and Inbox sections active.
- Click Send by email and choose who to send it to. You search your CRM, and the contact must have an email.
- Check the Subject, which comes prepared as "Summary of…" with the meeting's title.
- Write an Introduction. The full summary is included below it, exactly as it looks in the Summary tab.
- If you have several email accounts, choose which one it is sent from in Send from. If your account allows it, you can also add people in copy (Copy (CC)).
- Click Send. You'll see the message "Summary ready to send".
Opening the meeting in Notion
At the bottom of the page, Open meeting in Notion takes you to the original page.
Tip: if you see "That contact has no email; the summary cannot be sent", add their email in the CRM and try again.
