How to personalize your signature and the look of the emails you send
When you reply or send an email from WorkOS, it goes out with a clean design and your signature at the end. Here's what you can personalize and what you can't.
Your signature
The signature belongs to each connected email account, so you can have a different one per account. Each person manages the signature of their own accounts.
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find the Google connection block and locate your account. If you haven't connected any yet, see the article "How to connect your email and your calendar".
- Expand Email signature. Next to the title you'll see whether it's Configured or No signature.
- Write the signature in the box, or paste one you already have with its formatting (bold, links...).
- Click Save signature.
The editor bar lets you apply Bold, Italic and Underline, insert a Link, choose a color (five preset ones and a custom one) and Clear the formatting. The signature is added at the end of the emails you send from that address.
The look of the email
The emails WorkOS sends for you, for example from the Inbox, use a fixed design: header, your message, your signature and a WorkOS footer. That design can't be edited, but you can personalize it with your brand:
- If you've uploaded the Company logo, it appears in the header and next to the signature. If not, the WorkOS one is used. It's explained in the article "How to put your company logo in WorkOS".
- The text is your message's, with the formatting you give it as you write.
Tip: after saving the signature, send yourself a test email to see how it arrives in your inbox.
