How to put your company logo in WorkOS
By default, WorkOS shows its own logo. You can replace it with your company's so your brand shows both inside the app and in front of your clients. This setting is account-wide and only the Owner can change it.
How to upload it
- Go to Settings.
- In the Company logo block, click Upload logo and choose the file.
- When it finishes, the page reloads with your logo.
The file can be PNG, JPG or WebP and up to 2 MB. To replace it, click Change; to go back to the WorkOS one, click the Remove logo button.
Where it appears
- In the app header, instead of the WorkOS logo.
- In the automatic emails WorkOS sends, for example those sent from the Inbox: in the header and next to your signature.
- In the header of the client portal. If there's no logo, only text is shown.
- In your documents: the neutral design used when you haven't uploaded your own template carries your logo, and your own template can use it with the
{{doc.cliente_logo}}variable.
Until you upload one, the app and the emails use the WorkOS logo.
Version for dark mode
If your account has the Appearance option enabled (in the user menu you can choose System, Light or Dark), the Company logo block shows two rows:
- For light backgrounds: your usual logo. It's the one used in emails, the client portal and documents.
- For dark backgrounds (optional): a second version that only shows in the app header when WorkOS is in dark mode. Upload, for example, your logo in white.
The dark-background row appears once you've uploaded the regular logo. If you don't upload a dark version, in dark mode the regular logo is shown on a white plate so it stays readable.
What doesn't change
This setting changes the logo, not the colors of the application. The colors and typography of your documents are defined by your document template.
Tip: a horizontal logo with a transparent background usually looks best in headers and emails.
