Your user menu: language, switching accounts and logging out

The person icon in the header opens your user menu. It holds what is only yours: your language, your accounts and the option to log out.

What's in it

• Your name and, below it, the name of the company (account) you're in.
• Switch client — only appears if your email has access to more than one account.
• Language — the interface language selector.
• Help center — on a phone; on a computer it's at the bottom of the side menu.
• Log out — ends your session.

Changing the language

WorkOS is available in Spanish, English and Polish.

1. Open the user menu.
2. Under Language, choose ES, EN or PL.
3. The page reloads and the whole menu, buttons and messages switch to the chosen language.

The language is personal: each person on the team can have their own. It only changes the interface; the content you or your team wrote (tasks, notes, documents) stays in its original language. If you never choose one, WorkOS uses your account's configured language or, if there isn't one, your browser's language. You can also pick it before signing in, with the Language selector on the sign-in screen.

Switching accounts

If your email is registered in several companies, you enter one of them by default. To move to another, click its name under Switch client: the app reloads with that account's data. Each one has its own menu, tasks and permissions, and you'll see your role next to its name.

If that other account has its own web address, WorkOS takes you there and asks for the access code again.

Logging out

Log out ends your session and also makes WorkOS forget that device: next time you'll need to request a code. Always use it on shared computers.
