How to schedule a publication and follow it in Calendar and List

A publication goes out on the date it has set. Here's how to schedule it, move it, and what options you have once it's been published.

Viewing your publications

At the top you can choose between Calendar and List. In the Calendar you switch between Week and Month, and in the calendar options you can tick Hide weekends. The List has a search box and goes 15 at a time, with Previous and Next.

Scheduling a publication

  1. Open the publication and check that it has a Date, the post and, if it's for a social network, its attachment.
  2. If it's in In review, click Schedule post (or change the status to Publishing).
  3. WorkOS schedules it on the social network for that date, at your account's default time, and it moves to Scheduled.

If you move an already scheduled publication to today and that time has already passed, it goes out right away instead of waiting. If you move it to a past date, the previous one is kept.

Moving a publication to another day

In the Calendar, drag the card to another day: the change is saved instantly and, if it was already scheduled, it's rescheduled on the network too. Those that don't have a date yet appear in a separate area, with the note "Pending scheduling. Drag them to a day". You can also click the + on a day to create a publication with that date already set.

A publication that's already been published can't be moved: you'll see Published (can't be moved).

Once it has gone out

On the card of an already published publication you have:

  • View on the social network, with the link visible and ready to copy.
  • Share, which copies the title and the link so you can paste them into a message.
  • The Comments tab, with the comments it has received on the social network.
  • If the network provides statistics (impressions, likes, comments…), you'll see a box with them.
  • On a personal LinkedIn post, Repost from Company LinkedIn, only if your account has a company page selected.

Common problems

  • Not published: it's usually a disconnected account. You'll see a notice on the publication; reconnect the account in Settings → Integrations, in the Social networks section.
  • Nothing gets sent: check that the publication has a date and an attachment.
