What WorkOS is and how it is organized

WorkOS is the platform your team uses to manage day-to-day work — tasks, projects, clients, email, documents, social media and more — from a single place, with everything connected instead of scattered across separate tools.

Behind the scenes, WorkOS runs on Notion: that's where your information actually lives (tasks, projects, contacts, documents...). WorkOS gives you an interface built for working every day, instead of having to move through Notion's own pages and databases directly.

How it is organized

In the side menu (or the bottom bar, on mobile) you'll find the sections your account has active. Not every client uses the same ones — each account only turns on what it needs. The most common ones:

• Home — a summary of your day: agenda and tasks.
• Tasks — what you need to do, with list, board (Kanban) and calendar views.
• Agenda — your meetings and the events from your connected calendar.
• Projects and services — work grouped by client or service.
• CRM — the companies and contacts you work with.
• Inbox — your email and your WhatsApp and Instagram messages, in a single inbox.
• Documents — proposals, contracts and reports, with a portal to share them with your clients.
• Digital Garden and Wiki — two different ways to keep knowledge: personal notes and a team operating wiki.
• Posts — social media, newsletter and blog articles.

In addition, the round red Kairos button (bottom right; on mobile, above the bottom bar) opens WorkOS's AI assistant, by voice and by text. You only see it if the administrator has set up voice capture.

Who sees what

WorkOS distinguishes between people on your own team (who sign in with their email plus a code) and, if your company uses it, your own external clients, who access a separate portal just to view and approve documents you share with them — they never enter the full app.
