What Kairos can do from Claude or ChatGPT, and how to disconnect it

Once connected, your AI can work with your WorkOS. These are its limits, how confirmation protects you, and how to remove its access.

What it can do

  • Read right away: tasks, notes, projects, documents, wiki, CRM contacts and companies, posts, email and Agenda meetings.
  • Create and modify those same records: create tasks, notes or projects, change a status or a date, write or correct content, link records to each other, or prepare and send an email.

It only has the sections your account has turned on in WorkOS.

How you're asked to confirm

WorkOS flags every action that creates or changes data so that your app (Claude or ChatGPT) asks for your approval before running it. It's your app that shows you that approval: if you choose "always allow" for an action, it will stop asking.

Tip: don't tick "always allow" for actions that modify data. That way you'll keep reviewing each change before it's applied.

What it can't do

  • Delete or archive records.
  • Create, move or delete events on the calendar: from the Agenda it can only read meetings.
  • See more than you can. It respects your role and permissions: for example, it doesn't access other people's email if your account uses Team, nor "From others" if you're not the Owner, nor "My team" if you're not a Supervisor.
  • Use a section your account doesn't have turned on.

How long the connection lasts

The connection renews itself while you use it. If you go about 90 days without using it, it expires and you'll need to connect it again.

How to disconnect it

  1. In Claude or ChatGPT, open the connectors settings and remove the WorkOS connector. That app then deletes its access and can no longer use your WorkOS.
  2. To connect it again, repeat the process in the article "How to connect Kairos to Claude or ChatGPT".

WorkOS gets no notice when you remove the connector and doesn't have a panel where you can see or revoke these connections either: on its side, the connection simply expires on its own. If you need to cut off access immediately from WorkOS, contact WorkOS support.
