Kairos daily summary on Home

If your account has it switched on, Kairos prepares a summary for you every morning and puts it on Home, above everything else: which emails are waiting for a reply, which tasks are due today or overdue and what you have tomorrow, with one line explaining why each item deserves attention.

How it works

  • It is generated once a day, Monday to Friday, first thing in the morning in your account's time zone. If you have an approved absence that day, it isn't generated. If there is nothing pending, it isn't either: Home shows no card.
  • It has three blocks: Pending emails, Today's and overdue tasks (overdue ones and those already scheduled for today) and For tomorrow (calendar events and tasks due tomorrow). In each one Kairos highlights at most three things, up to eight in total.
  • Each action has a checkbox to mark it done (and undo), a title (click it to open the email, the task or the calendar) and a line with the reason. The coloured dot shows priority: red high, orange medium, grey low.
  • Archive hides today's summary; a thin strip with Undo appears in case you change your mind.
  • When you tick an action as done, its line disappears. Click «x of n done» (top right) to show them again and untick them. When you tick the last one, the summary archives itself and Undo appears in case it was a mistake.
  • Grouped tasks: in «Today and overdue tasks» and «For tomorrow», tasks of the same project and the same task type share a single row: the CRM company linked to the project (or the project if it has none) and the type on top, and each task below as a link on its own line (a title that does not fit is cut with «…»). The checkbox marks the whole group and the reason explains it as a whole. A task with no project or type stands alone.
  • Objectives: if your company has objectives in progress (Settings › Company objectives), Kairos gives more weight to tasks in projects linked to them and names them in the reason.

What Kairos sees (and doesn't)

  • Only what you can already see in WorkOS, with your permissions: your emails, your tasks, your calendar. Never the content of an email: only the subject, the sender and the date are used.
  • That data is sent to OpenAI to write the summary, just like when you talk to Kairos. Summaries are personal: nobody else sees them, not even the platform administration team (which only sees whether they were generated correctly and the AI cost).
  • Summaries are kept for 90 days and then deleted.
  • What the card shows (titles and links) always comes from your real data, never from text written by the AI: an email with odd instructions in its subject cannot change where a link goes.

Switching it on

It is off by default. The platform administrator switches it on for your account, for all users or only some. If you think you should see it and it isn't there, ask whoever administers your account.

Common problems

  • I have no summary today. It may be the weekend, you may have had nothing pending, you may have an approved absence today or it may not be time yet (it is generated after 07:00 in your time zone and not after 14:00).
  • It says something that is no longer true. The summary is a snapshot from first thing; if you have already dealt with something, tick the box or archive it.
