The difference between Meetings, Events and My calendar
The Agenda section has three tabs that look similar at first glance — but each one shows something different.
Meetings
A list of meetings (usually tied to the recording/transcription of your calls in Notion). Each meeting has:
- Title — editable by hand, or generated automatically by AI with the Automatic title (AI) button.
- Summary — sections and action items detected by AI, without the full word-for-word transcript.
- Status, participants, and a link to a project and to CRM contacts.
- A tab with the tasks that were generated from that meeting.
You can search by text and filter by project, combined with scope (My meetings / Where I participate / From others), when your account has it set up.
Events
The upcoming events from the calendars you've connected (Google Calendar, or Outlook if your account has it enabled). Each person connects and chooses their own calendars — you never see a colleague's events unless they invite you to something.
My calendar
The first tab in Agenda: a month or week view that combines meetings and events into a single visual calendar.
How tasks get created automatically
When a meeting moves to a specific status (for example, "Recorded"), the system can automatically create the tasks detected in its summary — with title, date (if mentioned) and owner (if named). This is the most common explanation for tasks appearing "on their own" after a meeting.
Creating an event
You can create an event by voice or with a manual form: title, date, start and end time, which calendar, whether it should have an automatic video call (Meet or Teams), and who to invite (including your CRM contacts). Once created, you can change its time from its own detail page with the Save time button.
